About the race
The 17th Annual Run for Their Lives 5K is a charity running event held on September 19, 2026, in North Park, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. The event supports awareness, education, and advocacy for bleeding disorders and benefits the Western PA Bleeding Disorder Foundation.
The event offers two participation options:
- 5K (approximately 3.1 miles) in person at North Park Swimming Pool Loop, 9901 S Ridge Dr, Gibsonia, PA 15044.
- 5K (approximately 3.1 miles) as a virtual run on a course chosen by the participant.
Registered participants receive a technical race t-shirt if registered by August 24, 2026, plus a goody bag and a race medal. Virtual runners may have race packets mailed for an additional fee or pick them up at the WPBDF office at 433 State Avenue, Suite #4, Beaver, PA 15009.
Registration fee schedule for the in-person event is: Early Bird $25 through May 31, 2026; Pre-Race $30 from June 1 through September 18, 2026; Race Day $35. Virtual registration is listed at $25. Online registration closes on September 18, 2026.
Following the 5K, the event program includes the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk with food, music, raffles, games, and community activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
