Patriot Run in Billings
Billings Parks and Recreation is organizing timed run and walk events at Mountview Cemetery, located at 1704 Central Avenue, Billings, MT 59102. The event offers multiple distances around Mountview Cemetery and lists the course as running through the cemetery grounds.
Distances:
- 5K Run/Walk timed event, registration fee $35
- 2K Run/Walk (Youth 12 and under) timed event, registration fee $15
- 2K Run/Walk (13 and over) timed event, registration fee $35
Packet pick up is scheduled from 10:30 to 12:30 near the start and finish area. Parking is provided in section 15 of Mountview Cemetery, with access through the back gate on Industrial Ave; other cemetery entrances will be blocked.
Proceeds from the runs will support veteran funeral services in Mountview Cemetery's veteran section and the maintenance of veteran sections. The first 150 registrants are guaranteed a race shirt; registrants who sign up by September 8, 2026 are more likely to receive their desired size.
