Run for HER 5K/10K : Billings, Montana
Run for HER is a community road race with in-person and virtual options held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Faith Chapel in Billings, Montana. The event raises funds to support survivors of human trafficking and to provide services aimed at housing, recovery, and independence.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.2 miles)
- 10K (6.4 miles)
- Virtual 5K (3.2 miles)
- Virtual 10K (6.4 miles)
The on-site course begins and ends at Faith Chapel and follows a paved route designed for both runners and walkers. Virtual participants may complete their chosen distance from any location; race packets and ordered shirts are mailed to virtual participants and submitted times can be recorded for comparison with other virtual entrants.
The event describes mission-focused programming including crisis response, safe housing, therapy, peer mentorship, life skills development, and pathways to independence. The 2026 fundraising goal is $75,000 to support survivor housing, recovery, and independence programs. The previous year’s event raised nearly $40,000, involved more than 100 participants, and helped provide emergency stabilization services to survivors and children while offering referrals and crisis support to others.
Teams from workplaces, churches, and community groups can compete in team categories for recognition on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
