East Texas Gold Run
The East Texas Gold Run is the 12th annual event held on September 19, 2026 at Bergfeld Park, 1510 S College Ave., Tyler, TX 75702. The event supports the Gold Network of East TX, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves local pediatric cancer families. Proceeds fund local programs and pediatric cancer research projects.
The event includes distinct age divisions and a donation-only option called Gold Dreamer - "Sleep-in." Registration windows and fees vary by event; some registrations opened January 16, 2026 and certain events have later closing dates.
The event emphasizes community support for the childhood cancer community: celebrating survivors, encouraging those undergoing treatment, and honoring memories of those lost. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the awareness ribbon color is gold.
Packet pickup and walk-up registration are available on race day. Early packet pickup is available on September 18, 2026 at Azalea Orthopedics, 3414 Golden Road, Tyler, TX 75701.
