Camp Croft 50K, 50 Miler, and 100 Miler
The event takes place at Croft State Park in Spartanburg, SC and is organized by Mountaineer Rumble Events.
Runners complete laps of a 10.05 mile loop that follows the Fainforest Creek Connector and the Southside Trail Loop. The trails include flat sections, rolling hills, and smooth single track. Each loop has approximately 700 feet of elevation gain.
Distances offered:
- 100 Mile: ten loops of the 10.05 mile course.
- 50 Mile: five loops of the 10.05 mile course.
- 50K: three loops of the 10.05 mile course.
- 10 Mile: a shorter option on the same trail network.
Each loop has a fully stocked aid station at the start and finish area, plus a water and gatorade station at mile 4.25 that may be manned during the event. Time limits are 10 hours for the 50K, 17 hours for the 50 Mile, and 32 hours for the 100 Mile.
Finish recognitions: 50K and 50 Mile runners receive a finishers medal; 100 Mile finishers receive a custom designed buckle. Campsite choices are available for 50K, 50 Mile, and 100 Mile runners for Friday and Saturday nights. The weekend includes packet pickup and pizza on Friday, quiet hours, last-minute bib pickup, and a brief pre-race meeting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
