Mother's Day Classic - Cairns
The event takes place on the Cairns Esplanade with the Event Village and registration located at Coconut Grove. Registrations for this event have closed.
Participants follow a 2.5 km loop course that starts at the northern end of the Esplanade near Coconut Grove and heads south along the waterside path to Bouldering Park, turns across the park, then returns along the street side of the Esplanade and finishes back near the Fun Ship Playground.

- 5 km run
- 5 km walk
- 2.5 km walk
Facilities and event details:
- Toilets available at the start/finish line, mid-course, and near the turning point
- Accessible venue and course, wheelchair and pram friendly
- Parking available near the startline and on surrounding streets
- Dogs allowed in all areas on leash
- No official race timing on event day
- A professional photographer will be on site
- Prizes distributed on the day for costume categories, 10 km run winner, highest individual fundraiser, and volunteer choice
