Crazy Soles Nipika Trail Run
The event is a trail running race held at Nipika Resort in the Kootenay Rockies on Saturday, June 5, 2027. Courses use singletrack trails within the Cross River Canyon Recreation Site and run along the Kootenay and Cross Rivers.

The 25 km course combines a 10 km and a 15 km loop. The 15 km loop follows the Kootenay Krusher trail on the south network; the 10 km loop uses the north network. The 5 km and 2.5 km loops include some singletrack and remain near the meadow area.
Categories and awards are specified for the distances: the 25 km has age-group categories for male and female divisions; the 15 km, 10 km and 5 km are listed in recreational categories; the 2.5 km kids run may be registered the day of the event. Awards are presented for all 25 km age classifications and for top male and female in the 15 km and 10 km distances.
Registration opens January 1, 2027. Race package pickup is scheduled at the Nipika Day Lodge on the day of the race from 8:30 - 10:30 am. Professional timing is provided by Zone4. A portion of funds raised supports the Radium Rotary Mental Health Fund. The race is produced in partnership with Crazy Soles, Nipika Mountain Resort, and Recreation Sites and Trails BC.
