About the race
The Clifton Beach Foot Race/Run is a series of short race series held along footpaths in Clifton Beach and Palm Cove. Each event in the series offers a single distance of 10 km; participants may enter one or both races in a series. There is no 5 km option.
Runners and walkers aged 14 years and older may take part; juniors under 14 require prior approval from the race director and must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the course. Competitors wishing to use a wheelchair must submit an application to the race director at least one month before the event.
The course starts and finishes on the beach at Deadman’s Gully, Clifton Beach, and includes a turnaround at the northern end of Palm Cove near the jetty where a water stop is provided. Toilets are available at the start/finish and in Palm Cove across the road from the water stop. Basic first aid is provided at the start/finish area. Bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and animals are not permitted on the course.
Entry closes at 6 pm the night before each race and no entries are accepted on race day. Entry fees for 2026 are listed as $15 per race with a reduced fee for Dynamic Running club members.
