Testway Ultra

Testway Ultra

Testway Ultra is a trail ultramarathon held in Hampshire, based at Linkenholt Activity Center near Andover. The event follows the Test Way from the Northern Hampshire/Berkshire border to the southern town of Totton in Southampton and crosses a variety of terrain, including chalky downs and village pathways.

Two distances are offered:

• 50 miles 2198 ft elevation
• 40 miles 2198 ft elevation

The courses are described as technical and fast in places, with constantly changing terrain. The route will be fully signed, with the final section marked using high visibility signage for runners continuing as light fades. Aid stations are provided approximately every 10 miles and offer a mix of sweet and savory snacks, water, juice and cola. Marshals are positioned at major road crossings and an experienced medical and safety team will be on route.

There is a 14 hour cutoff for the event. Finishers receive medals and prizes for first, second and third placed male and female finishers. A coach shuttle option is available for an additional £10 to return participants from the finish in Totton to Linkenholt. Minimum age for both distances is 18 years. Entries open 15 July 2026 and close 31 March 2027. Mandatory kit lists and other event details will be emailed to participants before the event.
