ZULU CHALLENGE THUNDER BAY, ON 2026
Zulu Challenge is an in-person survival-style obstacle event at Boulevard Lake, Thunder Bay, ON, for children, adults and dogs. The organizer describes varied terrain and states that obstacles are not disclosed in advance.
The event runs over a six-hour period and offers multiple participation formats. Specific rules include team tethering for some categories and safety requirements for canine entrants. The refund policy is no refunds.
Distances and formats
- Adults 5 km, up to 30 obstacles, participants tethered to a team
- Kids 3–7 yrs 1 km, up to 20 obstacles
- Kids 8–10 yrs 2 km, up to 22 obstacles
- Kids 11–13 yrs 3 km, up to 24 obstacles
- K9 5 km, 24 obstacles, all breeds welcome
Further details note that children may compete alone or as a team and may move between age categories based on ability. Parents may participate with their children and will be tethered to them.
