About the race
Zoom Through the Zoo is a fundraising running event presented by the Greenville Zoo Foundation and held in Cleveland Park with a loop through the Greenville Zoo. The event is part of the Greenville Track Club Corporate Shield calendar and includes a 5K race and a Kids Fun Run.

Registration for both events opens July 30, 2026. The 5K registration closes September 18, 2026; the Kids Fun Run registration remains open through race day. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $25.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Kids Fun Run. Kids Fun Run participants may purchase a t-shirt for an additional $5.00. 5K participants receive a t-shirt in unisex and youth sizes.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet Sports in Greenville on November 12 and November 13 with multiple time windows, and on race day at Cleveland Park. The 5K course is described as hilly and guides runners through Cleveland Park before finishing with a loop inside the Greenville Zoo. Results will be based on chip timing. Strollers and walkers are permitted, pets are not permitted, and parents may run with children in the Fun Run. All participants receive one free guest pass to the Greenville Zoo. Post-race activities at Cleveland Park include music, snacks, and an awards presentation; awards can include yearly Greenville Zoo memberships. Medals are offered to Kids Fun Run participants only.
