27th Annual Zoo Run
The 27th Annual Zoo Run takes place on April 11, 2026 at the Fort Worth Zoo, 1989 Colonial Parkway, Fort Worth, TX. The event features both a timed and untimed 5K and a 1K fun run that start and finish at the zoo.

- 5K timed and untimed
- 1K fun run
Participants follow the zoo’s main path and nearby neighborhoods. Proceeds support the Fort Worth Zoo’s local and international conservation and education efforts. Each registration includes a Fort Worth Zoo admission ticket valid through December 31, 2026.
Team registration requires a minimum of ten participants and a team registration deadline of February 23, 2026. Runners who register after that date must register as individuals. If a team remains below ten after the deadline, the difference must be paid at packet pickup. The team representative is responsible for picking up packets for the entire team.
Packet pickup is scheduled Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10 at TYLER'S, 1621 River Run #101, Fort Worth, TX 76107. On race day there is an animal outreach presentation and a 5K awards ceremony. The 5K course closes after 1 hour and 15 minutes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
