NISD Reindeer Romp
The NISD Reindeer Romp is the 19th annual community run/walk held on December 12, 2026, benefiting the Physical Education Departments of Northwest ISD. The event takes place at Alliance Airport, 2221 Alliance Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76177. It offers both timed and untimed participation options for people who choose to run or walk the course.
Distances available:
- 5K run/walk
- 1 mile fun run/walk
Entry is listed at $20 for students and adults, the same price for both distances, and participants may register for both distances without additional charge. The fee increases to $25 after October 31 at midnight, and in-person registration at packet pick-up locations is $30 beginning December 9. Registration includes a t-shirt, and all finishers receive a race medal.
Packet pick-up dates, times, and locations are noted as subject to change. Current packet pick-up options include:
- Wednesday 12/09, 5:00pm–8:00pm at NISD Athletic Office, 1937 Texan Dr, Justin, TX 76247
- Thursday 12/10, 5:30pm–8:00pm at Haslet Elementary, 1188 Wisdom Way Dr, Haslet, TX 76052
- Saturday 12/12, 7:30am–8:45am at Alliance Airport, 2221 Alliance Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76177
The event is open to all ages. Dogs are welcome when handlers maintain safety and clean up after them. Spectators are also welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
