NISD Reindeer Romp
The NISD Reindeer Romp is the 19th annual community run held on Dec 12, 2026 at Fort Worth Alliance Airport, 2221 Alliance Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76177. The event offers both a timed 5K and a 1 mile fun run on a mapped course with start and finish at the airport.

Entry cost is listed as $20 for students and adults, the same price for both distances, and participants may take part in both without an additional charge. Prices increase to $25 on Oct 31 and in-person registration is $30 at packet pick-up beginning Dec 9. Registration includes a t-shirt and all finishers receive a race medal.
Packet pick-up is scheduled on Dec 9 at the NISD Athletic Office in Justin, Dec 10 at Haslet Elementary in Haslet, and on Dec 12 at Alliance Airport; dates and locations are noted as subject to change. The event benefits the Northwest ISD Physical Education Departments and is supported by local community sponsors.
The event lists family oriented features such as photo opportunities, live reindeer, costumed characters, vendor booths, and hot cocoa. Dogs are welcome when owners clean up and maintain safety.
