Event Overview
The Zonta 5k takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Arthur Ray Teague Boat Launch in Bossier, Louisiana.
Events and Fees
The event features three participation options:
- 5k race with an entry fee of $25.
- Fun Run with an entry fee of $10.
- Zombie Sleep-in Supporter registration for $20. This option is for those who wish to support the cause but cannot attend the event; registrants receive a t-shirt.
Participant Information
Every participant who registers before October 16, 2026, will receive an event t-shirt with their race packet.
Packet pick-up is available at Sportspectrum, located at 6970 Fern Avenue in Shreveport, on Thursday, October 29 (noon-6:00 p.m.) and Friday, October 30 (10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.). Packets will also be available at the race site on the morning of the event.
Awards and Activities
Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners. The first-place male and female finisher in each age group (14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) will receive a medal.
The event includes a costume contest, face painting, and post-race "tricks and treats." Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
