Zonta 5K
The event takes place at the Arthur Ray Teague Boat Launch in Bossier and uses the adjacent bike path for running activities. The program includes a formal 5K, a short fun run, and a nonparticipating supporter option called Zombie Sleep-In Supporter. Additional on-site activities include a costume contest, face painting, and post race treats.

- 5K 3.1 Miles on the bike path
- Fun Run 1/2 mile on the bike path

Registration fees are listed for each option. T shirts are provided to participants who register prior to October 16 with their race packets. Packet pick up is available at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport on Thursday October 29 noon to 6:00 p.m. and Friday October 30 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Race packets are also available at the race site on the day of the event.
Awards are presented to overall male and female winners. First place male and female in each age group receive a medal. Age groups are 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
