Zonta 5K - Shreveport, LA
The Zonta 5K event takes place on October 31, 2026 at Stoner Boat Launch in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event program includes a 5K race, a short fun run for children, a costume contest, face painting, and a supporter registration option that includes a t-shirt.
Distances and entries:
- 5K - 3.1 miles on the bike path
- Fun Run - 1/2 mile on the bike path
- Zombie Sleep-In Supporter - supporting entry with t-shirt
The course is entirely on the bike path and uses the boat launch area for start and finish. Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes October 30, 2026. Entry fees listed are $25.00 for the 5K, $10.00 for the Fun Run, and $20.00 for the Zombie Sleep-In Supporter. Participants who register prior to October 16 will receive a t-shirt with their race packet.
Packet pick-up is available at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, with designated pickup times on Thursday and Friday before the event; race packets are also available at the race site on the day of the event. Awards include overall male and female winners and 1st place male and female medals in age groups 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
