Event Overview
The Zonta 5k features three participation options: a 5k, a Fun Run, and a Zombie Sleep-in Supporter registration. The event takes place at the Arthur Ray Teague Boat Launch in Bossier, Louisiana.
Activities and Schedule
Beyond the runs, the event includes a costume contest and face painting. There is also mention of "tricks and treats" after the race.
Registration and Fees
Entry fees are listed as $25 for the 5k, $10 for the Fun Run, and $20 for the Zombie Sleep-in Supporter registration. The Zombie Sleep-in Supporter option is for those who wish to support the event but cannot attend; they receive a t-shirt.
Participant Details
Participants who register before October 16 receive a t-shirt with their race packet. Packet pickup is available at Sportspectrum on 6970 Fern Avenue in Shreveport on specific dates and times, as well as at the race site on the morning of the event.
Awards
Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners. First-place male and female finishers in each age group also receive a medal. The age groups listed are: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
