Zonta 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The event takes place on June 12, 2027 at Arena Park - 4H Building in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Proceeds support the Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau’s service projects that advance the status of women and girls worldwide.
Distances and options include:
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk (non competitive; separate categories for ages 0-12 and 13+)
- Virtual Run/Walk (participants complete a run or walk on their own)
The 5K and 10K are chip timed and carry awards. Medals are given to the top three finishers in each age category for men and women, and overall male and female awards are also provided. One Mile Fun Run/Walk participants are not timed and the one mile event does not have finisher awards.
Packet pick up is available the day before at Fitness Plus, 150 South Mt. Auburn Road, Entrance #8, and on race day at Arena Park - 4H Building. Registrations submitted by May 25 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
