Zombie Zoom - Halloween 5K
The Zombie Zoom - Halloween 5K is a community sports event held in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The event takes place on October 31 and offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 5K (chip-timed)
- 1 Mile Walk (untimed, no shirt provided)
The 5K race is a chip-timed competition with results posted online. Participants in this category receive a finisher medal and a t-shirt. The 1 Mile Walk is an untimed option that does not include a commemorative shirt. For those interested in the Halloween theme, zombie face painting is available at Central Park East prior to the start.
The event features several costume-based awards, including categories for the best group costume, best individual costume, and best dog costume. Performance-based awards are also given to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K race.
Logistical amenities include professional chip timing and restroom facilities located at the Community House and Central Park West near the start and finish lines. Strollers are permitted but must remain at the back of the pack for safety. The use of headphones or earbuds is allowed during the event. Real or replica weapons are strictly prohibited.
