Zombie Run 5K - Pawhuska, OK
The Zombie Run 5K is an evening, themed run presented by Osage Nation Public Health on October 16, 2026 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The event takes place at 316 E Main Street, in the park behind the building.
The event includes a timed 5K through local park trails and a separate 1-mile fun run. Distances:
- 1 Mile fun run
- 5K timed run
Features described by the organizer include on-course actors portraying zombies, a costume contest with a prize for Best Overall Zombie, and race swag such as zombie-resistant t-shirts and glow sticks while supplies last. Packet pickup is available on race day only near the start/finish area. Registration is free and required for all participants. Results will be posted by the organizers.
The course will be run in low-light conditions; participants are advised to bring a flashlight to remain on the path. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in these divisions: 9 and under; 10–13; 14–17; 18–21; 22–30; 31–40; 41–50; 51 and up.
