Haughley Festival of Running
Haughley Festival of Running takes place at Haughley Park, Suffolk, with parking directed to postcode IP30 9RS. The event uses the park grounds and provides exclusive use of the main area and plenty of open space.
Race options include:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
Races are lap-based. A heavy half marathon is organised as a five-lap event by default, with the option to change to six or seven laps on the day. The standard ultra marathon is nine laps with the possibility of increasing laps up to around twelve, depending on available time. A six-hour event cut-off applies; a shorter cut-off is used for some later starts.
The course is mainly pathway with short sections of trails and woodland. A lap-point aid station supplies water and refreshments. Parking is secure and included on site, with an attendant to direct vehicles and to help competitors find the start and number collection area. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal, or a lucky-dip medal where that option is available.
The event is cupless; participants should bring their own cups or bottles for refilling. Event entries close 48 hours before the event day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
