Haughley Festival of Running
Haughley Festival of Running returns for its fourth year at Haughley Park, Suffolk. The event offers multiple fixed distances and is hosted on a mainly pathway course with small sections of trails and woodland. The location is self-contained with exclusive use of the main area and open space.
Distances available include:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
Some race formats are lap based: a heavy half marathon is normally five laps with options to extend to six or seven on the day, while an ultra marathon is normally nine laps with the option to increase laps up to twelve depending on time available. There is a six hour event cut off; a four hour cut off applies to some later starts.
On course support includes a water and aid station at the lap point. Parking is included and secure on site with an attendant to direct vehicles and to the start area for race number collection. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal or, where offered, a lucky dip finisher medal selected from previous events. The event is cupless so participants should bring cups or bottles for refilling. Maximum entrants are 300. Entries close on 11 April 2026 and the minimum age is 18 years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
