Zeus on the Loose 5K
Parnassus Preparatory School's Zeus on the Loose is a community event held in Maple Grove, Minnesota. This spring fundraiser serves as the opening event for the school's Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations. The event features a physical activity component centered around the school grounds and the surrounding area.
Participants can take part in a 5k fun run/walk. For the 2026 edition, the course is designed as a loop, moving away from the turnaround route used in previous years. The event is open to individuals who wish to run or walk the distance.
Beyond the main athletic event, various on-site activities are organized on the quad. These include the presence of food trucks and additional activities for attendees. Registered participants receive a T-shirt and are eligible for prizes, which are distributed at the venue on the morning of the event. The race takes place at the school location on 96th Avenue North.
