The Third Annual Zeta Rho Lambda Juneteenth 5K Run/Walk
The event is presented by the Zeta Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. It is the third annual Juneteenth 5K held on June 20, 2026, at 303 Transportation Circle, Dover, DE 19901. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine.

Registration includes early-bird and standard pricing windows and offers a family discount when four family members register together. The chapter has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 and holds 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Proceeds will support the fraternity national programs listed below.
Proceeds and supported programs include "Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College" for scholarships and dropout prevention; Big Brothers Big Sisters partnership to increase African American mentors; Project Alpha providing sexual health and responsibility education for young men ages 12 to 18; and support for Boy Scouts of America character building and leadership training.
Race amenities and awards include T-shirts for early registrants and for registrations received by May 30, 2026, participation medals, and complimentary hotdogs and hamburgers after the event for registered participants. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and in age groups from 13 and under through 80 plus. New recognitions include first "Hero" in police, firefighter, educator, military, and medical or mental health worker divisions.
