The Third Annual Zeta Rho Lambda Juneteenth 5K Run/Walk
The Third Annual Zeta Rho Lambda Juneteenth 5K Run/Walk is presented by the Zeta Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The event takes place on June 20, 2026, at 303 Transportation Circle, Dover, DE 19901, and will be held rain or shine.

- Virtual 5K
Proceeds support the chapter and national projects of Alpha Phi Alpha. Beneficiary programs listed for this event are Go to High School, Go to College; Big Brothers Big Sisters partnership; Project Alpha for young men ages 12 to 18; and Boy Scouts of America programs. The chapter states it has 501(c)(3) tax exempt status and a chapter fundraising goal of $5,000.
Race amenities and awards are described for participants. An event T shirt will be given to the first 100 registrants and participation medals are provided. Free hotdogs and hamburgers are served at the conclusion of the event for registered participants. Awards include top three men and women overall and top three men and women in age groups 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus. New awards recognize the first Hero in police, firefighter, educator, military, and medical or mental health worker divisions. A Divine 9 Challenge allows local fraternities and sororities to compete as five person teams by lowest total time. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by May 30, 2026.
