About the race
The ZACH MACH Adventure Challenge is a two-day multisport event in Finch Hatton, Pioneer Valley, featuring a main multisport course on Saturday and family-focused MINI and MEGA events on Sunday. The Saturday program comprises four stages over varied terrain including private farmland, rainforest tracks, singletrack mountain bike trails and sealed road circuits. The event uses an event headquarters with on-site camping at Finch Hatton RSL and basic facilities such as toilets and hot showers. Saturday formats include Solo, Pairs, Relay teams and Stage-Only entries with age requirements for each category.
Course details for Saturday include mandatory safety and equipment requirements for each stage. Sunday offers shortened and extended junior courses for ages 6 and up, with family pairing rules and a MEGA option for older juniors. Prize money is allocated across divisions and individual stages, and eBikes are permitted on one mountain bike stage but are ineligible for podium prizes. Access to sections of the course is granted by local landowners and is restricted outside official race days.
The event lists on-site food options and local hospitality near the HQ. The program also includes podium awards and an on-site prize draw for a new mountain bike during the family day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
