Zach Mach Adventure Challenge
The Zach Mach Adventure Challenge is a multi-stage multisport event held in Finch Hatton, Queensland. The course spans a total of 90 km through Mackay's Pioneer Valley, featuring a diverse landscape for off-road and road-based activities. The event is open to athletes of various ages and ability levels.
Participants can choose to compete in different categories, including solo, pairs, or relay teams. There is also the option to register for a single individual stage, a combination of multiple stages, or the full four-stage course. The sequence of activities includes:
- 37.5 km Mountain Bike (MTB)
- 10 km Kayak
- 12 km Trail Run
- 30 km Road Cycle
The event base is located at the Finch Hatton RSL on Anzac Parade. On-site camping is available for participants, allowing for an immersive experience at the event hub. Food is provided by the local pub nearby. Prize money is awarded for various classifications, including age group winners, individual stage leaders, and overall finishers.
