YYG Runway Run 2026 - Charlottetown

YYG Runway Run 2026 takes place at Charlottetown Airport, 10 Maple Hills Avenue, Charlottetown, PE. The event is a runway race covering 5 km and all proceeds support the PEI Humane Society.

Advance registration is required by Friday, May 8, 2026. Race kit pickup is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, May 7 and 8, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the YYG Airport Authority office, 250 Maple Hills Avenue, Suite 132; enter through the south end of the building and proceed upstairs.

Parking is free on the grass lots off Maple Hills Avenue. The first 300 registrants will receive a YYG hat. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers.

A raffle on site will offer two round-trip flight vouchers valid for regularly scheduled Porter Airlines destinations subject to conditions. Raffle tickets cost $10 each or 3 for $25 and may be purchased at kit pickup or on the event day; cash, credit and debit accepted.

Strollers are welcome on the course. Pets and bicycles are not permitted. All participants must complete the race within one hour. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
