Birchwood 5K Top Shelf Shuffle
This is a 5 km run/walk held on May 2, 2026, departing from Birchwood Intermediate School. The route proceeds to the Confederation Trail and returns to the school at the 2.5 km mark on the trail. There is a time limit of one hour.
The entry fee is $20 and all proceeds go to Birchwood Intermediate School to support school programs and students. Free T shirts will be distributed at kit pickup while supplies last. A medal presentation, chocolate milk, and prize draws take place after the event. The event runs rain or shine.
Race kit pickup is on Thursday, April 30 at the main office, 49 Longworth Avenue, Charlottetown, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Additional parking is available at Hennessey Cutcliffe Funeral Home across from the school on the morning of the race. Participants are asked not to park on Birchwood Street on the morning of the event.
Registration is managed through the Public Schools Branch SchoolCashOnline. Participants sign in, select I don't want to add a student, choose Birchwood Fun Run/Walk 5K and complete payment.
