20th Annual YWCA York Race Against Racism 5K
The YWCA York Race Against Racism 5K returns for its 20th year in York, Pennsylvania. This athletic event focuses on celebrating diversity, inclusion, and equality. Both runners and walkers are invited to participate in the activities, which take place rain or shine.
The event features three distinct options for participants:
- 5K (timed)
- Youth 5K Run (ages 6-17)
- Kids Fun Run (ages 5 and under)
The course is located at 320 E. Market Street. Participants can find parking in the large lot behind Asbury Church, situated between E. King St. and Reineke Pl. All individuals who complete their event receive a finisher medal, water, and a snack at the finish line.
The top overall male and female winners will be recognized during a ceremony following the race. Performance awards are also presented to the top male and female finishers in several age categories, ranging from 13 and under to 70 and older. All participants, along with their friends and families, are welcome to attend the post-race celebration and awards ceremony.
