Turkey Hill Country Classic
The Turkey Hill Country Classic takes place in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania, starting from Penn Street. The event features several road and trail distances designed for a variety of participants, including runners and walkers.
The event offers the following distances:
- 1/2 Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K run or walk
- 5K run or walk
- Kids Fun Run
The 1/2 Marathon course includes segments with rolling hills and utilizes the Enola Low Grade Rail Trail. Participants who complete the half marathon distance receive a commemorative finisher medal. Both the 10K and 5K events utilize a cannon start to begin the races.
The venue provides additional on-site amenities for participants and attendees. These include various refreshments and inflatable attractions located at the event site. A dedicated run for children is offered free of charge. Registration for the main races is available until the end of April, while registrations for the children's event are handled on the morning of the races.
