Yuc’ng Fun Run : event overview
Yuc’ng Fun Run is an evening run held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, that begins at the Canteen Taproom on Tramway. The event is timed to take place after dark so participants can see the Aluminum Yucca lit. Registration is online only, opening 8/09/2025 and closing 3/07/2026; there will not be in-person registration.
Course and event details
The course is 3.4 miles total: about one mile of asphalt uphill, a 1.5-mile single-track trail loop, then the same asphalt mile back to the taproom. Elevation change is approximately 276 feet. Check-in and check-out are required; participants receive a numbered reflective band at check-in and must return the band after finishing to receive a pint and a special award. Participants must have a light source and reflective clothing is highly recommended. All participants must obey pedestrian laws, remain on sidewalks and foot trails, and use crosswalks when required. Crossing guards will be posted at the main intersection on Tramway to follow pedestrian crossing lights and add visibility; they will not direct traffic.
