Run Against Traffick 5K : Balloon Fiesta Park, Albuquerque
The event is a 5K running race on December 13, 2026 at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico, supporting the New Mexico Dream Center. Funds raised during the race will be contributed to services for vulnerable youth, individuals, and families affected by or at risk of human trafficking.
Registration opens May 22, 2026 and closes December 12, 2026. The registration fee is $50. Packet pickup and late registration are available on December 12 from 10:00 to 15:00 at 126 General Chennault St NE, Albuquerque 87123. Race day packet pickup is available between 12:30 and 13:45. Race day registration is permitted. Timing information will be announced by the organizers.
The 5K starts near the Sid Cutter Pavilion and follows a route that weaves around the Balloon Fiesta Park. Start positions are seeded by expected pace. Participants must display their bibs visibly; lost bibs may be replaced at the registration tent. Parking is available in the lot east of the Sid Cutter Pavilion with access via Alameda to Balloon Museum Drive and Magic Ave.
Event conduct rules and participant safety provisions are enforced. Prohibited actions include public urination and unsanctioned alcohol consumption; failure to follow event officials or course marshals may result in disqualification. Certain wheeled devices are restricted; authorized wheelchair participants, course marshal bicycles, and participants with strollers are permitted. Overall and age group awards will be given to top finishers, with age group categories from 9 and under through 70 plus. Entry fees are non refundable and entries may not be transferred or deferred.
