The 16th YPD Blue 5K Run Walk For A Reason is scheduled for May 17, 2026 in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The event is based at the Skipper Chowder House, 152 South Shore Drive, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.

Online registration pricing is listed as follows: before May 4 adults $25 and kids $10; a T shirt option is available for $15. After May 4 online T shirt orders are not accepted and T shirt sales on race day are limited to first come service. Registration for the kids run opens March 31, 2026.
Bib and T shirt pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 15 at the Yarmouth Police Department, 340 Higgins Crowell Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673 and Saturday, May 16 at Marathon Sports, 484 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
On race day adult 5K run and walk entry is listed at $30 and the kids fun run entry at $10. Awards include 1st overall male and female and top three men and women in these age groups: 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Team competitions are offered for groups of three or more employees in Police Cup and Fire Cup divisions. Additional on site activities include a fitness challenge, face painting, and a photo booth. Lunch will be served to registered participants courtesy of the Skipper; lunch tickets will be sold to non registered participants. This year’s beneficiary is to be determined.
