Event details
The 45th Hyannis Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and Marathon Team Relay is scheduled for March 1, 2026 in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The race weekend is based at the Cape Cod Irish Village at The Emerald Resort & Conference Center on Scudder Avenue. The event is presented by The Fun Road Race Company. Distances offered include:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- Marathon Team Relay (four legs: 7.0, 6.1, 7.0, 6.1 miles; teams of 2, 3, or 4)
Registration is open and entry fees change over listed time periods. The event is a Boston Marathon qualifying course and has a strict 6 hour time limit; course management ends at four hours after the race cutoff.
Course, rules and awards
All courses start and finish at the Cape Cod Irish Village. The marathon is two loops of the half marathon course. The roads are paved and described as mostly flat with a few rolling areas. The route passes local points of interest including Hyannis Harbor, beaches, and the Kennedy family area. The course is not closed to traffic but is monitored by police and volunteers. The marathon and shorter events run concurrently.
Awards are given to first and second place in each division and overall male and female winners. Winners must be present at the awards ceremony held in the Cape Cod Irish Village ballroom. The race is USATF certified. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
