YOUR BEST CHANCE FOR ROMANCE : 3 Mile Run or Walk
This event is a community 3-mile run or walk held at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford (5800 Main St). It offers separate categories for adults and youth and a short, non-competitive kids fun run if weather permits.
- 3 miles : run/walk, 19 years and older
- 3 miles : run/walk, 18 years and under
- Kids fun run : ages 9 and under, non-competitive (weather permitting)
The course is a 3-mile loop with basically four right turns. Runners should note a notable hill at the start of mile three followed by a downhill section. The course will be marked with signs, cones, and flour arrows, and police will be on course. There is no water table on the course; participants should carry their own water if needed. Strollers are permitted but must start toward the back of the field.
Registration is online only and continues until the event morning unless the 150-person limit is reached. Fees change after the published cutoff dates. Registration fees are non-refundable. Bib, shirt, and swag pickup occurs at the park building beginning on the event morning. Awards include overall and age-group prizes, team awards by combined age, and medals for younger categories.
