Young Hearts for Life 5K Run/Walk
The Young Hearts for Life 5K Run/Walk is the ninth edition of a community 5K taking place on May 31, 2026, at Benedictine University - Kindlon Hall, 5700 College Road, Lisle, IL 60532. The event is organized as a run or walk and accepts participants of all ages.
Participants may run, jog, or walk and receive a race bag and a custom t-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered by May 10. Registration opens on April 8 and closes on May 31; a day-of registration option is offered at a higher fee.
Registration fees are stated as $35 per person, $25 for children 10 and under, and $40 for day-of registration for all ages. Tickets for a selection of raffle baskets are available for purchase with cash.
Funds raised by this 5K will be used to sponsor a screening at an underserved school, donate an AED to a local area high school, and purchase new ECG machines and other equipment for the screening program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
