Event details
The McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 in Scarborough. The event is organised by Run For All and starts and finishes at the Scarborough SPA. The route follows the coast: round South Bay, past the harbour, round the headland into North Bay, through the Open Air Theatre and back to the SPA. Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day.

On the day information
Race HQ is at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD. Race numbers are posted in advance and can be collected from the Race Office on event morning if needed; numbers are not posted to participants with a non-UK postal address. Baggage drop is in the Ocean Room on the first floor at the back of the SPA. A water station is located between the 4 km and 5 km marks. Toilets are available in The SPA and on course. First aid is available at Race HQ and along the course, and a chase vehicle will be on hand.
Finishers receive a sustainable slate medal and have a tree planted on their behalf. There is an option to purchase a 100% recyclable finisher t-shirt.
Travel, road and sustainability
There is no parking at The SPA; several nearby public car parks are available. Road closures will be in place along the seafront in South and North Bay. Recycling bins will be provided across the event site and at water stations, and trainer drop-off points will be available next to the Race Office.
