Yorkshire Coast 10K
The McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K is organised by Run For All in partnership with Scarborough Athletics Club and takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 in Scarborough. The event is listed as sold out.
The course starts and finishes at Scarborough SPA and runs along South Bay, past the harbour, around the headland into North Bay, passing Scarborough Castle and the Freddie Gilroy sculpture, and through the Open Air Theatre before returning to the SPA.
Facilities and inclusions listed for entrants include a sustainable slate medal, a tree planted on the participant's behalf, the option to purchase a 100% recyclable finisher t shirt, chip timing and a goody bag. Entrants must be 15 years or older on race day. Race numbers are posted to UK addresses and are expected to start arriving in the post from 8 October; numbers for overseas entrants are available for collection at the Race Office.
Event services include water stations supplying 330 ml bottles with recycling bins at each station, fixed first aid stations on the course, toilets in the SPA and along the route, and a baggage drop in the Ocean Room on the first floor at the back of the SPA. The Event Village is located at the SPA YO11 2HD with food and drink vendors and charity stalls.
Sustainability measures include recyclable finisher t shirts, slate medals, and trainer drop off points managed with JogOn for reuse or recycling. Bone conducting headphones are permitted provided volume remains low. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
