Yorkshire Coast 10K - 17 October 2027
The Yorkshire Coast 10K is a coastal road race organised by Run For All in partnership with Scarborough Athletics Club. The race starts and finishes at Scarborough SPA and follows a scenic route round South Bay, past the harbour, around the headland into North Bay, passing Scarborough Castle and the Freddie Gilroy sculpture, then through the Open Air Theatre to return to the SPA.
Entries are scheduled to open in Summer 2027 and registration of interest is available. Entrants must be aged 15 years or older on race day. The event uses chip timing and provides water stations with 330 ml bottles and recycling bins on course. First aid is available at fixed stations along the route. Toilets are located in the SPA and at points along the course.
Race-day facilities include an Event Village at the SPA and a baggage drop in the Ocean Room on the first floor. Race numbers are posted to UK addresses; numbers are expected to start arriving by 8 October and postal entry deadlines are after 21 September. International participants who do not provide a UK postal address can collect their race number from the Race Office on the event weekend.
Sustainability measures include medals made from sustainable slate, an option to purchase a 100% recyclable finisher t-shirt, a tree planted on each entrant's behalf, and trainer drop-off stations in partnership with JogOn. Bone conducting headphones are permitted at a low volume so runners can hear marshals and emergency vehicles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
