Event
The McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K is organised by Run For All and will start and finish at Scarborough SPA. The coastal route passes round South Bay, past the harbour, round the headland, into North Bay, through the Open Air Theatre and back to the SPA. The event is presented alongside a 5K and a fun run on the same day.

Practical information
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. Included with entry is a sustainable slate medal, a tree planted on the entrant’s behalf, and an option to purchase a 100% recyclable finisher t-shirt. Race numbers are posted in advance from 8 October; overseas postal addresses will not receive race numbers and collection at the Race Office is available instead.
Race HQ is at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD. Bag drop is in the Ocean Room on the first floor at the back of the SPA; runners should attach their baggage label from their race number. A water station is located between the 4km and 5km marks. Toilets are available in The SPA and on course. First aid is available at Race HQ and along the route, and a chase vehicle will be on hand. Road closures are in place along the seafront in South and North Bay. Recycling bins and trainer drop-off stations will be provided as part of the event’s sustainability measures.
