Yorkshire Coast 10K
The McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K is scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026 and is organised by Run For All. Previously managed by Scarborough Athletics Club, the event promotes inclusivity and encourages entrants of all ages and abilities to walk, jog or run.
The race starts and finishes at Scarborough SPA and follows a coastal route that passes South Bay, the harbour, the headland and North Bay, runs through the Open Air Theatre and returns to the SPA. Race headquarters are located at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD. Road closures are in place along the seafront in both South and North Bay.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. Included with entry is a sustainable slate medal and a tree planted on behalf of the entrant; there is an option to purchase a 100% recyclable finisher t-shirt. Race numbers are posted in the week before the event for UK addresses; overseas participants will collect race numbers at the Race Office on the event weekend.
On course facilities include a water station between the 4 km and 5 km marks, toilets at The SPA and on course, baggage drop in the Ocean Room and first aid provision at Race HQ and along the route. A chase vehicle will be available for participants who need assistance.
The event includes sustainability measures such as recycling bins on course and trainer drop-off stations via JogOn. Bone conducting headphones are permitted provided volume is low. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
