Yorkshire Coast 10K
The McCain Yorkshire Coast 10 km takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 and is organised by Run For All. The event starts and finishes at Scarborough SPA and follows a coastal route around South Bay, past the harbour, round the headland into North Bay, through the Open Air Theatre and back to the SPA.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. The organisers and Scarborough Athletics encourage participation from people of different abilities and ages and promote an inclusive approach to completing the course.
Included for participants are a sustainable slate medal, a tree planted on their behalf, and an optional 100 percent recyclable finisher t-shirt. Race numbers are posted in advance or can be collected from the Race Office on the event weekend if required.
Race HQ is located at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD. Bag drop is provided in the Ocean Room on the first floor. A water station is positioned between the 4 km and 5 km marks. Toilets are available at The SPA and on course. First aid cover is provided at Race HQ and along the course, and a chase vehicle is available for runners who need assistance.
Event organisers provide bins and recycling on course and invite participants to use them. There is no parking at The SPA for runners; parking is available in nearby public car parks.
