Bridlington Beach Fun Run at Bridlington South Beach
The event returns to Bridlington South Beach on 5 July 2026 and follows a route along the beach and coastline. Due to favourable tide times the course will use firmer sand for running.

Entry options and inclusions vary by race. The 5K entry fee is £15 with a reduced affiliated rate of £13; 5K entrants receive a T shirt, water bottle and medal. The Fun Run entry fee is £3. Places are limited and entries close on 1 July 2026.
The event is arranged by the Coastal Services team of East Riding of Yorkshire Council together with Bridlington Road Runners. The 5K is licenced by the Trail Runners Association and held under UKA rules. Fancy dress is optional and a trophy is awarded for the best costume.
This is a beach based event run entirely on sand; competitors enter at their own risk. Medical assistance is provided during the event and entrants are advised to disclose any medical conditions on their race number. Age rules: 5K entrants must be 12 years or over; Fun Run participants under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Pets are not permitted on the course. Beach wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis. Photographs and video may be used for publicity. Personal information may be used to contact entrants and to produce results.
