Arla Protein York 10K : 01 August 2027
The Arla Protein York 10 km is a city road race held in York with the start and finish on Knavesmire Road near York Racecourse. The route passes historic city landmarks including the ancient city walls, Clifford's Tower and York Minster. Organisers describe the event as a notable city run that has grown since 2009.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. The entry package includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Official pacers will be on course carrying finish-time flags. Water stations provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins are placed at each water point.
An Event Village near the start and finish offers food and drink for purchase, charity stands and a baggage store where runners should attach the tear-off strip from their race number. Toilets are located around the stadium area, and medical personnel and fixed first aid stations will be positioned on the course and near the start and finish.
