Arla Protein York 10K - York

The Arla Protein York 10K is a city road race held in York that was first run in 2009. The route starts and finishes on Knavesmire Road near York Racecourse and passes historic landmarks such as the city walls, Clifford's Tower and the minster. The course is described as flat and fast and is used by runners aiming for a personal best.

Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. Race services include chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive medal and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Pacers with visible finish-time flags will be on course.

Event facilities include an Event Village with food and drink outlets and partner charity stalls, a designated baggage store, and allocated toilet areas around the stadium. Water stations on course will supply 330 ml bottles and recycling bins are provided at each water station. Medical staff and fixed first aid stations will be positioned near water stations and at the start and finish, with roaming first aiders in the Event Village.

Photography will be available from MarathonPhotos and results will be published on the event website after the race. Sustainable initiatives include recycling bins on course and trainer drop-off stations for JogOn. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
