Arla Protein York 10K
The Arla Protein York 10K is a city road race that starts and finishes on Knavesmire Road near York Racecourse. The route passes several historic landmarks, including the ancient city walls, Clifford’s Tower and York Minster. The course is described as flat and fast.
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. Race services listed by the organiser include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Pacers carrying finish time flags will be available on course.
An Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Baggage may be left in a designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number. Water stations supply 330 ml bottles and provide recycling bins at each station.
Medical support includes roaming first aiders, fixed first aid stations near water stations and a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish. Toilets are provided around the stadium. Photography is available from MarathonPhotos and results will be published on the event website after the race.
