YMCA Race Weekend
The YMCA Race Weekend takes place at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, New York. This multi-day sports event features a variety of competitions held on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend includes water-based events, cycling, and running across different formats and distances.
Saturday is dedicated to multi-sport disciplines. The triathlon and relay events consist of an 800 meter swim, a 20 km bike ride, and a 5 km run. Other options available on Saturday include an aquabike, an aqua-run, and a duathlon which features a 2 mile run, a 12 mile bike ride, and a 3 mile run.
Sunday focuses on trail running and events for younger participants. The main event is an 8 km trail race through the scenery of Central New York. Participants who competed in Saturday's events have the option to add the Sunday trail race to their schedule.
