YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot
The YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot, presented by Union Bank & Trust, is an annual Thanksgiving morning road event run on the streets of downtown Lincoln. The event is in its 18th year and includes in-person and virtual options.

Entry fees and registration details are set and paid online only. A late registration fee applies to entries received after November 22. Family pricing is offered for the 1-Mile at a flat rate of $80 for two adults age 22 or older plus children under 21 who live at the same address, up to five family members; additional family child entries are $10 each. Family pricing does not apply to the 5K. No on-site registration is available and entry fees are nonrefundable.
Packet pickup is scheduled at the Cooper YMCA on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and in the Railyard on Thanksgiving morning; virtual participants may request mailed packets for an additional fee if outside Lincoln city limits by the stated deadline.
Event logistics note free parking options near Pinnacle Bank Arena with pedestrian access to the Railyard, on-course rules such as keeping right to allow faster runners to pass, bib visibility requirements for 5K participants, a no-dogs policy on the course, and that strollers must start at the back. A food and hygiene drive will collect donations during packet pickup and race day. Awards are given for youth finishers and 5K age division and overall winners.
