YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot : Downtown Lincoln, November 26, 2026
The YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot presented by Union Bank & Trust is in its 18th year and takes place in Downtown Lincoln at the Railyard, 350 Canopy St, on November 26, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual options with proceeds supporting the YMCA Annual Fundraising Campaign.
Distances:
- 75 yards : Tot Trot, ages up to 5
- 1 Mile : Fun Run/Walk, in-person and virtual
- 5K : Race, in-person and virtual
Key event details include a free Tot Trot (registration required; no apparel provided) and paid 1 Mile and 5K entries. Family pricing is available for the 1 Mile only: an $80 family entry covers up to five members meeting the listed age and residency criteria; additional child entries are $10. The 5K does not have family pricing. A $10 late registration fee applies to entries received after the early registration deadline.
Strollers are allowed on course; dogs are not permitted. No refunds on entry fees. Packet pickup is scheduled at Cooper YMCA the day before the event and at the Railyard on race day. Virtual participants may request mailed packets for an additional fee if outside Lincoln by the stated deadline.
Youth finishers in the Tot Trot and 1 Mile will receive small prizes. The in-person 5K will award medals by age division to top male and female finishers and additional prizes to overall winners.
