YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot presented by Union Bank & Trust
The YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot takes place on 11/26/2026 in Downtown Lincoln at the Railyard, 350 Canopy St. The event includes in-person and virtual options and offers races for multiple age groups.
Distances and options:
- 75 yards Tot Trot for youth up to 5 years old; parents may accompany.
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk offered in-person and as a virtual Trot at Home.
- 5K Race offered in-person and as a virtual Trot at Home.
Registration and fees are managed online. The Tot Trot is free and does not include apparel. Entry fees for the 1 Mile and 5K include early registration pricing and a family option: $22 for the 1 Mile, $37 for the 5K, and a $75 family rate that covers up to five family members with specific age and residency conditions. A late registration fee of $10 per person applies to entries after November 22. No refunds are available.
Packet pickup is at the Cooper YMCA, 6767 S 14th Street on November 25 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and at the Railyard, 350 Canopy St beginning at 6:30 am on race day. Virtual participants may request mailed packets for an additional fee by November 13.
Strollers are allowed on course; dogs are not allowed. Small prizes are provided to youth finishers of the Tot Trot and 1 Mile. The 5K awards medals by age division and overall in-person winners receive medals and additional prizes. Free parking is available at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Festival Lot, 901 V Street, with pedestrian access to the Railyard. The event hosts a drive for non perishable food items and hygiene products during packet pickup and race day.
