Corn to Creek 25K
The Corn to Creek Trail Races take place on November 21, 2026 in Wilderness Park, Lincoln, NE. The event offers two trail distances and is scheduled as a community-driven, fall trail race with the course routed through large sections of the park.

- 10K
The 25K is a single, flowy, non-repetitive loop that traverses a large portion of the park. The 10K begins with a 2.5 mile start loop, then follows a cloverleaf pattern and includes a 1.85 mile out-and-back section shared with the 25K (3.7 miles round trip). Surfaces are about 15% crushed limestone and 85% dirt singletrack. Parts of the course include fallen leaves, roots, rocks, and a few short, punchy hills. Overall elevation gain is small, roughly 100 feet for the 10K and 200 feet for the 25K. There are no cutoffs.
Race logistics include a well-stocked start and finish area with restrooms. The 25K has three aid stations, one of them halfway with restrooms, plus a water drop between the last aid and the finish. The 10K uses the start/finish area as its mid-course aid station. This is a cupless event; participants must carry their own fluids and are advised to have about 500 ml of capacity. Race shirts are optional and offered at cost, about $10.
Registration is capped at 200 runners across both distances, with a price split of $55 and $40 and a registration close date of November 18 at 11:59 PM CT. All proceeds go to Friends of Wilderness Park. Key rules include a closed course, no pets or pacers, no littering, mandatory respectful conduct, and requirement for top three male and female finishers to show GPX verification before podium recognition.
