Corn to Creek 25K
Corn to Creek is a community trail race held on November 21, 2026 in Lincoln, NE, at Wilderness Park. The event offers two distances and is limited to 200 runners total; a waitlist will open after the cap. Registration pricing follows a two-tier split of $55 and $40, with prices rising in early November. Race shirts are optional and available at cost, about $10. All proceeds benefit Friends of Wilderness Park to support trail maintenance, conservation, education, and community events.
Distances
- 25K single, flowy, non-repetitive loop covering much of the park
- 10K includes a 2.5 mile start loop then a cloverleaf out-and-back section
Course surfaces are roughly 10–15% crushed limestone and 85–90% dirt singletrack. Runners should expect leaf cover, occasional roots and rocks, and a few short punchy hills. Overall elevation gain is small, about 200 feet for the 25K and about 100 feet for the 10K. No special gear is required.
Support and facilities include a well-stocked start and finish area with restrooms, three aid stations on the 25K (one halfway with restrooms), a water drop near the finish, and the 10K using the start/finish area as its mid-course aid station.
The event enforces rules for safety and fairness, including a cupless policy, no pets or pacers, closed-course requirements, proper conduct and littering prohibitions, bib number checks at aid stations, and possible penalties or disqualification for violations. Top finishers may be asked to provide GPX verification before prizes are awarded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
