King Turkey Day 5K and 10K Run
The Sport and Recreation Committee of FORWARD Worthington presents the 47th Annual King Turkey Day 5K and 10K Run. The event has been held since 1980 and the 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Worthington, Minnesota, at 7th Ave and 10th St.
Race options include:
- 10K Timed Run: USATF-certified course with views of Lake Okabena.
- 5K Timed Run: newly updated route.
Race day services are organized near the starting line and include check-in and packet pick-up, professional timing, and finisher medals for participants. The 10K course currently holds USATF certification; possible road construction could require minor route adjustments that might affect certification.
