King Turkey Day 5K/10K
The King Turkey Day 5K and 10K are community road races held in Worthington, Minnesota on September 19, 2026. The event offers two measured race options:
- 5K
- 10K
Organizers list professional chip timing and post-race refreshments. The 10K course is USATF certified at present, though organizers note that ongoing road construction could require route adjustments that would void the certification; a final decision on the course will be made roughly two weeks before the event.
Recent event updates include an updated 5K route, two dedicated cheer zones along the course, a new race day check-in and packet pickup location at the corner of 7th Ave and 10th St, and finisher medals for participants. Prize bags will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age bracket in place of medals for those positions. Race swag options are listed for participants and winners.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at 700 2nd Ave and on race day near 7th Ave and 10th St. Course maps and event details are available as part of the event materials.
