Event overview
The RunB4Wine 5K takes place at Round Lake Vineyards and Winery in Round Lake, Minnesota on September 27, 2026. The event offers a single race distance:

The event is family and dog friendly and allows strollers. No packet pick-up is required; on-site check-in is available on race day. A lakeside worship service is offered to participants and their families before the race. After the race, participants aged 21 and over may receive a complimentary glass of wine and the vineyard’s wines will be available for sale. RunB4Wine merchandise will also be sold at the site.
Course, aid and awards
The course uses a mix of pavement and gravel, dirt, and grass trails through the vineyard and along the Round Lake lakeshore. One water station is located along the route. Medals are awarded to male and female first-place finishers in three age groups: child (<18), adult (18-55) and senior (>55).
Purpose
The event is held in memory of a baby who fought liver failure caused by a rare enterovirus. All proceeds support a pediatric intensive care unit fund that assists families of chronically ill children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.
