RunB4Wine 5K
RunB4Wine 5K is scheduled for 2027-09-26 at Round Lake Vineyards and Winery in Round Lake, MN. The event is family and dog friendly and welcomes running, jogging, walking, or stroller use on a 5K course.
The course follows pavement and gravel, dirt, and grass trails through the vineyards and along the Round Lake lakeshore. One water station is located along the route. No packet pick-up is required and on-site check-in is available on race day. Medals will be awarded to male and female overall first place finishers in the child (<18), adult (18-55), and senior (>55) age categories.
After the event, participants aged 21 and older receive a free glass of wine. The vineyard s full line of wine will be available for sale and event merchandise will be offered. A lakeside worship sunrise service is listed as part of the day s schedule.
The event is presented in memory of a baby described in the event text as healed in heaven after fighting liver failure caused by a rare enterovirus. All proceeds benefit a pediatric intensive care fund that assists families of chronically ill children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children s Hospital.
