RunB4Wine 5K : Round Lake Vineyards and Winery
RunB4Wine is a family and dog friendly 5K set at Round Lake Vineyards and Winery in Round Lake, MN. The course uses pavement and mixed surfaces including gravel, dirt, and grass trails and follows sections of the Round Lake lakeshore. One water station is located along the route.
The event is held in memory of a baby who fought liver failure caused by a rare enterovirus. All proceeds support a pediatric intensive care unit fund that assists families of chronically ill children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.
No packet pick-up is required; participants check in on race day. Medals are awarded to the overall first place male and female finishers in three age categories: child (<18), adult (18-55), and senior (>55).
After the run, attendees aged 21 and over receive a free glass of the winery’s wine and can purchase additional wine and items from the winery menu. RunB4Wine also offers event merchandise and a lakeside worship sunrise service for participants and their families and friends.
