YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon & Fun Runs
The YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon and Fun Runs marks its 50th anniversary and is presented by the Idaho Potato Commission. All races take place on the flat, scenic Boise Greenbelt and start and finish at The Morrison Center in Boise, Idaho.
Distances offered:
- Marathon, 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon, 13.1 Miles
- 10K
- 5K Spud Run
Registration opens on July 13, 2026 at 10:00 and closes on December 1, 2026 at 01:59. Entry fees listed by distance are $90 for the marathon, $70 for the half marathon, $35 for the 10K, and $30 for the 5K.
Packet pick up for all distances is at the Morrison Center. Packet pick up is available Friday, May 14, 3:00-7:00 pm, with an additional morning packet pick up window 5:00-10:30 am. Packet pick up includes the race packet and event t-shirt, and vendors will be present before race day.
