YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon & Fun Runs
Organized by the Treasure Valley YMCA and presented by the Idaho Potato Commission, this event marks the 50th anniversary and features multiple road races on the Boise Greenbelt in Boise, Idaho.
All races start and finish at the Morrison Center. Courses run along the Boise Greenbelt and are described as flat and fast.
Distances included:
- Marathon - 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10K - 10 kilometers
- 5K Spud Run - 5 kilometers
Packet pick up is available Friday evening and on race morning at the Morrison Center; packet pick up includes the race packet and a t-shirt, and vendors are present on the Friday session.
Registration opened July 13, 2026 and closed November 30, 2026. Published registration fees were $90 for the marathon, $70 for the half marathon, and $35 for the 10K and 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
