YMCA Creepy Crawl 5K
The YMCA Creepy Crawl is a spooky themed running event held at the Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area in Palmer Lake, Colorado. The course follows the Santa Fe Trail for about 1.1 miles before turning back and finishing with a lap around Palmer Lake. The event is presented as the 18th annual edition and is scheduled for October 24, 2026. Registration for the main 5K has a fee of $40 and opens July 15, 2026, with registration closing September 16, 2026.
Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each five-year age group. Age groups begin at 9 and under and continue in five-year increments up to 90 and over.
A separate Kids Monster Dash is offered for children aged 12 and under. That event is a single lap around Palmer Lake measuring 0.8 miles and is free to enter. Costumes and spirit wear are encouraged for participants. All proceeds from the Creepy Crawl 5K benefit the YMCA and are designated to provide support to a family or individual in need.
