Race formats
Distances offered:
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- 12-Hour timed event
The 12-Hour is a timed, loop-based event where runners draw colored balls to determine each loop. Loops are color-marked to match the balls. A black ball gives a runner the option of a 15-minute timeout or a task set by a "task master" that can earn an override ticket. Final results for the 12-Hour are total miles recorded within the runner’s time on course. Runners who complete at least one full loop in the 12-Hour are listed as finishers.
Logistics and amenities
All races share one main aid station at the Pisgah Point Group Camping Area. The aid station provides water, electrolyte drink, ultra-style snacks, and drop-bag access. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish area and may be accessed each loop. Tent camping on site is allowed with limited space for camper vans; trailers and roof-top tents are not permitted. Registered runners only may camp on site and must reserve a space. Vehicles entering the park must meet Colorado State Parks entry requirements or pay the park entry fee. Finisher awards are given for completing the listed challenges; some specialty awards are presented and awards are not mailed. Registration details and deadlines are published by the organizer.
