Event overview

The Endure Trail Runs is scheduled for May 16, 2026 at the Pisgah Point Group Campground in Mueller State Park, Divide, Colorado. The event offers multiple options: 12-Hour, Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10k. Combined runner capacity is 225. The 10k, Half Marathon, and Marathon have an 11-hour cutoff. All courses use double-track and single-track trail surfaces with zero pavement. One main aid station is located at the Pisgah Point Group Camping Area; it serves as the start/finish location, provides water, electrolyte drink, assorted ultra snacks, and drop bag access. Weather in the area is variable; average high temperature is 57°F and average low is 32°F, with the possibility of rain, snow, wind, hail, or thunderstorms.

  • 12-Hour - timed event where total miles determine results.
  • Marathon - trail marathon on single and double-track.
  • Half Marathon - trail half marathon with same cutoff rules.
  • 10k - trail 10k on single and double-track.

12-Hour format, logistics and awards

The 12-Hour event uses a colored-ball system to assign loops. Balls indicate loop color; loops are marked with matching flagging tape. As the event progresses, longer loops may be removed from the draw. A black ball gives the runner either a 15-minute timeout or a task assigned by a task master; completing tasks can earn override tickets to exchange future loop colors. Runners who complete at least one successful loop are listed as finishers with accumulated miles; laps not finished before the 12-hour cutoff are not counted. Camping on site is allowed for registered runners only, with limited space and restrictions (no trailers or rooftop tents). Vehicles entering the park must meet Colorado State Parks entry requirements or pay the park entry fee. Finisher awards are given to those who complete the 10k, Half Marathon, or at least one loop in the 12-Hour. Special awards include DFL, Adversity, and Transcendence awards; there are no podium or age-group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
