  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • 12-Hour (Tiny Balls)

No awards will be mailed.

Course and logistics

All courses use double-track and single-track trails with zero pavement. The main aid station is at the Pisgah Point Group Camping Area and provides water, electrolyte drink, assorted ultra-style snacks, and drop bag access. Drop bags are allowed only at the start/finish area and must be picked up; abandoned bags are disposed of after the event. Check-in takes place at the start/finish location and must be completed on race morning. A virtual pre-event briefing is held in the week before the race.

Camping on site is permitted for registered runners with limited space for tents and some vehicle sleeping; trailers and roof-top tents are not allowed. Park entry requirements apply for vehicles entering the state park. Weather in the Colorado mountains can be variable, with average high around 57°F and average low around 32°F.

12-Hour formats

The Tiny Balls 12-Hour uses colored balls drawn from a bucket to determine each loop a runner will run. The LRS (Last Runners Standing) format uses ping pong balls to set the loop and the slowest allowable pace for each loop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
