Event details

The YMCA Corporate Cup 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The course is a 3.1 mile route held near downtown Baton Rouge on S. River Road, across from the Cane’s River Center. Race headquarters and a post-race party will be held downtown; the exact post-race location is to be determined. Race packets include bibs with timing chips that are required for scoring.

Format, rules and amenities

The event includes an open individual 5K division, a Fun Team division and four corporate team divisions. Team and participation rules include: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Fun Teams are composed of four individuals.
Corporate teams vary by division; team composition requirements include at least one male, one female and one member age 40 or older.
Wheelchair athletes are welcome; runners and walkers only. Strollers are permitted; bikes, skates and skateboards are not allowed.
Team scoring is the sum of team members' finishing places; individual open places are scored separately.
Race bibs with timing chips are required for team scoring and are distributed in race packets. Additional amenities and activities noted include event T-shirts with registration, awards in multiple categories (including Corporate Wellness Award, division awards, age-group winners, fun team awards), a jambalaya cook-off and tent rental options with setup, tables and chairs. Registration is non-refundable.
