YMCA Corporate Cup 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run
The YMCA Corporate Cup is a community running event held on 03/20/2027 near Downtown Baton Rouge at 300 S. River Road, Riverfront Plaza, across from the Cane's River Center. The event offers a 3.1 mile course for the 5K run/walk and a separate 1 mile fun run.

Multiple entry options are available: an Individual division, a Fun Team division, and four Corporate Team divisions organized by company size. Fun Teams must have four members to be eligible for awards. Corporate Team rules vary by division; some divisions require three members with a mixed-gender composition and at least one member aged 40 years old or older, while other divisions require four members with similar composition rules. Registration fees listed for the events are $25.00 for 5K entries and $5.00 for the 1 mile fun run.
Chip timing is used and race bibs with timing chips are required for scoring; team members without a bib will not be scored for the team. Race packets with bibs are distributed at a packet pickup on the Friday before race day. Race headquarters and the post-race party are located on the Riverfront Plaza.
An after party is planned with beer, food vendors for purchase, cookoff food, spacewalk and face painting for children, and a line dancing segment. The Cookoff Challenge has no entry fee, uses meat supplied by Manda’s Fine Meats, is judged for first through third place, and has rules about cooking start time, fire safety, company identification, and food readiness for tasting.
