YMCA 5K Run/Walk In Memory of Marcie Mazzola
The event takes place on May 3, 2026 at the Huntington YMCA, 60 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743. The event offers both an in person 5K and a virtual 5K option with a virtual upload window from May 3 to May 10.
Registration options include a base 5K entry fee plus processing. Example totals shown for early registration include a $30 event fee with a processing charge that brought the sample total to $33.80. A youth rate is available for entrants 17 and under. Participants who register at least two weeks before the race are eligible to receive a T shirt, which is distributed on a first come first serve basis.
The course is USATF certified and the event is part of the USATF Long Island Grand Prix series. Post race amenities listed include awards, prizes, refreshments and sponsor giveaways. Awards include a Top 1 male and Top 1 female overall prize of one year full adult Y membership and a Y gift basket, medals for the top three in multiple age groups, and team awards.
Bib pickup locations are provided on the YMCA property and virtual entries receive mailed materials. Proceeds support sending children in need to YMCA Summer Day Camp.
