Event
The YMCA 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 26, 2026 at the Huntington YMCA, 60 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743. The event offers an in-person and a virtual option for the 5K distance. The course is USATF certified. Post-race amenities include awards, refreshments, sponsor giveaways, and event T-shirts provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Registration and logistics
Registration options include in-person and virtual entries with a base registration amount of $30; total cost may vary due to processing fees and optional donations. Virtual participants can upload times and photos during the window April 26 - May 3. Virtual bibs are shipped; shipping may occur from one week before to one week after the event.
Bib pickup is available the day before at the Red House on the YMCA property and on event day at the Huntington YMCA pavilion. The most convenient parking is the Senior Center/Cinema Arts lot at 423 Park Avenue. The route guidance asks participants to use the Senior Center/Cinema Arts parking lot and follow the driveway to Park Avenue to reach the start area.
Awards include top overall male and female prizes, age-group medals through 80+, and team awards. Proceeds support sending children in need to YMCA Summer Day Camp. Live online results and event photos are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
