YMCA 5K Run/Walk
This is an in-person 5K run and walk held at the Huntington YMCA, 60 Main Street, Huntington, NY. The event includes post-race awards, prizes, refreshments, and sponsor giveaways. Event shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Awards are given for top overall male and female finishers, including a one-year full adult YMCA membership and a YMCA gift basket for each overall winner. Age-group medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each category, with age brackets covering youth through 80 and older. Team recognitions include fastest team (top four cumulative, mixed) and awards for largest team, second largest team, team theme and spirit, and youth group participation.
Bib pickup is offered both before the event at the Pavilion and on race day at the Huntington YMCA; virtual participant items are shipped to the registrant. Live results and finish-line photos are available online on race day, and additional event photos are posted afterwards.
Registration is not yet open; notification options are provided for when registration becomes available. Proceeds support sending children in need to YMCA summer day camp. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
