YL RoCo 5k & Fun Run
The third annual YL RoCo 5k & Fun Run takes place on September 12, 2026 at the VA Horse Center - Hoofbeats Barn in Lexington, VA. The event supports Young Life in Rockbridge County, which serves local middle, high school, and college aged students.
The event is planned as a twilight race that routes from the Hoofbeats Barn through the VA Horse Center woods and property. Food trucks will be on site for food purchases after the races.
Distances offered:
- 1 mile Fun Run for ages 11 and under
- 2.5k recreational run
- 5k run (3.1 miles)
Prizes are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5k. Registration is free for all races. Participants receive a free cotton t shirt; requested sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 9. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
