YL RoCo 5k & Fun Run : Third Annual
The Third Annual YL RoCo 5k & Fun Run takes place on September 12, 2026, at the VA Horse Center - Hoofbeats Barn in Lexington, VA. The event raises funds for Young Life in Rockbridge County, which serves local middle, high school, and college aged students.
Races offered on the day include:
- 5k / 3.1 Miles
- 2.5k
- Fun Run : 1 Miles (kids 11 and under)
Registration for all races is free. Participants who register will receive a free cotton t-shirt; sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after September 5, 2026. The planned route runs from the Hoofbeats Barn through the VA Horse Center woods and property. Food trucks will be on site for food purchases after the races.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5k. Registration opens March 20, 2026 and closes September 12, 2026.
