Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge
The Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge is a flexible endurance event organized by Yeti Trail Runners with an in-person edition in Damascus, VA and a year-round virtual edition. The format requires participants to run 5.2 miles every 4 hours for 24 hours, completing six rounds for a total of 50K.
The virtual edition allows participants to choose surfaces and locations, including trails, roads, treadmill, or indoor laps, and to pick their own start time within the allowed window. Participants may attempt the challenge multiple times; one registration covers all attempts through December 30. Results are self-reported.
The in-person Yeti Live! edition takes place in Damascus, VA and includes basic aid and community support typical of the organizer. Finisher medals are awarded to all finishers; virtual participants will have medals mailed. Registration closes October 1.
The event description emphasizes self-reliance and group atmosphere in equal measure. There are no recorded DNFs in the event language; attempts can be repeated and compared to previous efforts.
