Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge
The Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge asks participants to run 5.2 miles every 4 hours for 24 hours, completing six rounds for a total of 50K. The event is offered in an in person edition and a virtual edition.
The in person edition, called Yeti Live!, takes place in Damascus, Virginia. In person participants will have access to basic aid and shared event support during overnight running.
The virtual edition allows runners to choose where and how they complete each 5.2 mile leg, including indoor, outdoor, treadmill, or looped locations. Participants may run solo or as part of a team, pick their own start time, and complete the six rounds anytime between January 1 and December 30.
Logistics and reporting follow the event format: registration closes October 1, one registration covers multiple attempts, and results are self reported. Virtual finishers receive mailed finisher medals. Attempts may be repeated as allowed up to the stated completion window.
The format emphasizes repeated short efforts rather than a single continuous run, and it provides options for remote participation as well as an in person gathering in Damascus, Virginia. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
