Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge
The Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge is a timed endurance event held in Damascus, Virginia, with a scheduled date of Nov 14, 2026. The event asks participants to complete repeated legs of set distance over a 24 hour period rather than follow a fixed course.
The core format is to run 5.2 miles every 4 hours for 24 hours, completing six rounds for a total of roughly 50K. There is no set course; runs may take place on trails, roads, treadmills, parking lot loops, or even indoors. Participants choose their route and how they complete each leg.
The event includes an in person edition in Damascus that provides simple aid and a communal atmosphere. A virtual edition is available; virtual participants may pick their own start time and may complete the challenge anytime between Jan 1 and Dec 30. Results are self-reported and one registration covers multiple attempts; participants may retry as needed until the stated deadline. Finishers receive medals, with virtual medals mailed to remote participants. The event emphasizes flexible formats and self-supported effort rather than a single prescribed course.
