Yellowstone Turkey Trot
The Yellowstone Turkey Trot is a community 5K event in Livingston, Montana, organized by Yellowstone Running Club with Livingston Healthcare. It takes place on November 14 at the Sacajawea Park tennis courts and uses the address 616 River Dr, Livingston MT 59047.
The event is a self-timed 5K with a timer at the finish. Entry fee is $10 and children ages 0 to 12 enter free. Proceeds from the event go to the Livingston Food Pantry. Participants who bring a nonperishable food donation are entered in a raffle.
Snacks, water, and hot cocoa are available at the finish area. For safety and liability reasons dogs are asked to remain at home. The organizer lists requested donation items including canned proteins, peanut butter without added sugar, hearty soups and chili, cooking oils and sauces, whole grain cereal, canned fruit in juice, low-sodium canned vegetables and beans, and whole wheat pasta and macaroni and cheese.
