Yellowstone Trail Race and Montana Trail Series
The Montana Trail Series features several trail running events throughout the summer of 2026. These races take place in various locations across the Montana wilderness, including West Yellowstone, Seeley Lake, and Thompson Park near Butte. The series includes the Yellowstone Trail Marathon and Trail Races, the Bob Marshall Trail Races, and the Divide 50 and 25K.
Participants can choose from a wide range of distances across the different event dates:
- 50K
- Marathon (26.2 Miles)
- 25K
- 1/2 Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
The events held at West Yellowstone utilize the Rendezvous Ski Trails. Each course is certified, and all participants have their results recorded and published. Support is provided during the races through aid stations stocked with Hammer Nutrition products.
Every runner receives a custom race bib, a custom race sticker, and a custom race medal. Those participating in multiple events as bundle members receive one race medal per season. Technical race shirts are not included in the standard registration but are available for purchase separately through the race store.
