Event overview
The Yellowstone 1/2 Marathon takes place on July 11, 2026 in West Yellowstone, Montana. The event is organized by the Yellowstone Running Company and Wolf Pack Adventures and is held at the Rendezvous Ski Trails, West Yellowstone, MT 59758. Registration for each event closes July 11, 2026 at 11:59pm MDT. Entry fees listed for the events are: half marathon $80, 50K $85, 25K $75, 10K $65, and 5K $50.

Course information
All courses start and finish at the Rendezvous Ski Trails. The 50K is run as two loops; the 25K, half marathon, 10K and 5K are each one loop. Reported elevation gains are: 50K - 2,200 ft; 25K - 1,112 ft; 1/2 Marathon - 960 ft; 10K - 370 ft; 5K - 230 ft. The event is permitted under a special use authorization from the Custer Gallatin National Forest. The Forest Service recommends that each participant carry bear spray.
