Yellowstone Rendezvous Race
The 46th annual Yellowstone Rendezvous Race is scheduled for March 7, 2026, in West Yellowstone, Montana. The event consists of multiple cross-country ski races held concurrently on the Rendezvous Ski Trails, which are described as groomed rolling terrain.
Distances offered include:
- 2K
- 5K
- 10K
- 25K classic
- 25K freestyle
- 50K freestyle
Races are open to a range of ages with specific age restrictions for some distances. The event is limited to the first 1,000 participants registered. The entry fee covers race participation, bail-out shuttles along the course, aid stations, finish area food and refreshments, race souvenirs and promotional materials, and the award ceremony.
Registration fees vary by distance and by registration date. Example fee tiers listed are:
- 25K and 50K: $75 through January 17, 2026; $85 through February 21, 2026; $95 until March 5, 2026.
- 10K: $50 through February 21, 2026; $65 until March 5, 2026.
- 2K and 5K kids races: $25 through February 21, 2026; $40 until March 5, 2026.
Packet pickup is scheduled the evening before the race at the Holiday Inn Conference Center. A late packet pickup is available on race day at the Povah Center for a stated fee.
